When the myths come to life

In The Mummy Awakens!, a team of modern archaeologists accidentally broke the seal of Iman-Ka, a cursed Pharaoh who betrayed the gods to gain immortality. When he rises, life, time and the souls of humanity are all threatened. The ancient nightmare spreads across the world – from the red sandstorms of Cairo to the living mummies that rise from the dead in modern cities.

Only one person can stop it: Evelyn Hawthorne, the last descendant of the clan that sealed Iman-Ka, and Jack Ryland, a former special forces soldier who accidentally gets caught up in the supernatural war.

A new The Mummy film is in development and is scheduled for release on April 17, 2026. The film is written and directed by Lee Cronin (director of Evil Dead Rise), with Blumhouse Productions, Atomic Monster, and New Line Cinema producing. The main cast includes Jack Reynor and Laia Costa. This is the first time a The Mummy film has not been distributed by Universal Pictures, marking a new direction for the franchise.
